Sand Rail Frame Design Plans

Technique: Engobes.
I started drawing sketches with one another subject, looking for a popular item, a national symbol that also had to do with independence and freedom. I came to

Ceibo legend, the national flower of Argentina and Uruguay (also called seibo, Seiber, bucare). And while it was not decided until 1942 which flower was which we represent, the legend comes from word of mouth from the colonial era.

The plywood leaned against a rock hard so as not to warp or back down and began to model the forms.

Completed modeling and letting it dry up state "leather" with balls of clay around the edges so they will not warp when it dries. I wrapped in a plastic bag which I made small holes for controlled drying. His projection was no more than 2 cm. (The statutory maximum was 4 cm.)
A time in state "leather" slip the
and then got dry again surrounded by balls of clay, resting on daily papers, which was changed once a week for new roles always kept dry and wrapped in the bag with small holes. All complete drying took me almost a month, but I was straighter straighter or rather, planchadita planchadita.

finally sent it to the oven, with so much fear that it started I did a mild still wine, and the just recently out of the oven.
I still need the glaze (it has to withstand being outdoors without tarnished) and finish some details color, but I do not take it anymore and decided to publish it. When fully completed will place here the photo of the final work and I'll go for a ride to Concepcion to the plate under his arm. I'm happy!
Well, here it is, as a photographer I'm a mess and I think more glazing. I practice more with the pinceleta ... but hey, for being my first board so bad, what is said is not bad ... eggshell enamel that end was not as eggshell ... n is accepted

criticism.
